Applied Physics & Astronomy
Rresponsible for providing administrative and clerical services in order to ensure effective and efficient operations.
Main accountabilities & expectations
Writing official letters
Communicate with Students & instructors
Electronic archive and manual filing
Resolves administrative problems
Meeting and event arrangements
Maintain and manage office files
Coordinate repairs to office equipment
Answering the phones
Direct calls and respond to inquiries
Day-to-day operation matters
Preparing business correspondence, typically using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook)
Coordinating between departments
Managing inventory of assets and supplies
Operate general office equipment, such as a photocopiers, fax machine, multi-line telephone system and scanner.
Booking exam rooms for midterm by using banner
Add the names of Advisor for students section through the banner system
preparing the teaching loads and processing the beginning of each semester and checking them
Supervision and follow-up with coordinator of each course and documents for accreditation.
Add details faculty in the system (LOGS)
Invigilator for Exams if necessary
Communication with the Registration Department in relation to the schedules of courses and students
Job Specific Accountabilities
Preferred Qualification & Experience
- B.Sc. in administration or any related fields
- A minimum of 2 years' experience
University of Sharjah (Main)
Excellent command of Arabic and English languages
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Excellent computer usage
- Technical problem solving and data analysis
Male or Female
Bachelor's degree/higher diploma
2 or more
Living In UAE
