Coordinator - Student Recruitment and Attraction American University in the Emirates - Dubai

Arrange required facilities and support for the indoor and outdoor college activities
  • Assist new students for their interviews
  • Assist the Associate Deans, Department Heads, Committee Chairs, and faculty members when required
  • Assure proper deliverance of quality service among the college
  • Attend meetings, distribute agenda prior meeting, take affective and accurate minutes of meeting, and share meeting minutes to all participants
  • Coordinate with faculty and students for assistance, requests, and issues
  • Develop required college reports as requested
  • Maintaining and flling all documents and records of the college
  • Other related responsibilities as required
  • Provide administrative support for the daily business of the college
  • Schedule meetings when required
  • Suggest new ideas or work plan within the team
  • Work to promote quality service within AUE

Competencies and Skills Needed:
  • Flexibility in terms of working hours and locations.
  • Candidate must have good listening skills (frequently listening to potential and current students via phone or in person).
  • Good communication skills (frequently speaking with students via phone or in person).
  • Excellent computer skills.
  • Ability to cooperate and work with different types of people.
  • Bilingual skills preferred (English and Arabic).
  • Knowledge of Higher education admissions and registration procedures.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Effective organizational, time management, and human relations skills.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Ability to assemble and organize data and prepare reports.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, parents, administrative staff, counselors, faculty members, and others.

Salary:
7,000/- AED

Benefits:

  • Annual Leave- 30 days in a calendar year.
  • Air ticket- Round trip economy class ticket to the capital of the country of origin for self under AUE rules and provisions once in a year.
